Energy and Industrial Advisory Partners is an industry focused boutique investment banking and advisory firm focused on the energy (conventional and energy transition) and industrial markets.

Our investment banking business provides advisory services to lower middle market companies, early-stage startups, and public and private equity backed companies to support sales processes, fundraising for early-stage companies, acquisitions and divestitures. We also help companies make strategic decisions and undertake due diligence on acquisition targets.

We are currently looking to add an Analyst to our office in Houston. The Analyst will be given significant responsibility and client exposure, deal experience, and an understanding of transaction structures. This individual will work across our covered industries and his/her responsibilities will include:

-Creating pitch books and presentations in PowerPoint for capital markets & M&A transactions
-Financial modeling in excel – comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, DCF, etc.
-Financial analyses and model development, forecasting & valuations
-Conduct industry and company specific research
-Assist in drafting confidential information memoranda and teasers
-Assist in developing investor/acquirer lists
-Accounting & financial diligence on transactions and managing document flow and data rooms
-Interact with clients and senior bankers

-Strong undergraduate academic performance
-Background in accounting, finance, valuations, economics, or a related subject or relevant energy, industrial, consulting or financial industry experience
-Prior work experience (one to three years) in investment banking, accounting, corporate finance, management consulting, or energy or industrial industry experience preferred
-A quick learner who has a keen interest in the investment banking business and is willing to learn quickly
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel
-Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts
-Commercial instincts and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
-Highly motivated and ethical candidate willing to work in a team environment
-Ability and willingness to pass required licensing exams (FINRA SIE, FINRA Series 79, FINRA Series 63)
-US Citizen or Permanent Resident / fully authorized to live and work in the United States

We offer a very competitive compensation package which will include base, bonus, health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401K plan etc.

We are supportive of a healthy work - life balance, while the business is project driven and there may be periods of more intensive work this position will not normally require typical investment banking hours. We are focused on eliminating busy work, unproductive workflows, unnecessary deadlines, excessive pitching, etc. which contribute to typical investment banking hours.
