NOIA Releases EIAP Study on the Economic Impacts of the Gulf of Mexico Oil and Natural Gas Industry

Energy and Industrial Advisory Partners (EIAP) is pleased to announce the release of a new study prepared on behalf of The Nation Ocean Industries Association (NOIA), “The Economic Impacts of the Gulf of Mexico Oil and Natural Gas Industry”. The study highlights the large impact the industry has on oil and natural gas production, employment, gross domestic product and government revenues. The study also considers the potential impacts of two potential policy changes, no new lease sales being conducted for the Federal OCS, and no new drilling permits being issued. The study forecasts the potential impacts these policy changes may have on industry activity levels, oil and natural gas production, industry spending, employment, GDP, and government revenues.
